Perfectly Faded French Black Moleskin Chore Jacket - S

Regular price

An authentic piece of French utilitarian history from Aubusson, France, this vintage 1970s chore jacket by Yves Passant is made from heavy, dense black cotton moleskin - a material highly prized for its windproof weight and distinct, velvety texture.

Unlike standard cotton twill variants, genuine moleskin pieces have become increasingly difficult to come by. This jacket has been beautifully broken in over decades of actual use, developing a high-contrast charcoal patina along the high-wear seam lines on the front and back. Cut in a classic, straight-fit silhouette, it features a traditional three-pocket front, a structural collar, and a concealed interior chest pocket. It is a timeless piece built to last, ready to continue softening and aging with its next owner.

Note: There is a historic ink stain above the right interior pocket.
