Mauna Kea Slab & Twister Switching Socks
Like all Mauna Kea footwear, these socks are slowly spun in Nara, Japan, on antique tubular knitting machines. Using a low-gauge, 60-stitch process with thick yarns, this traditional method creates a loose, comfortable knit that won't twist around your ankle or lose its shape in the wash. Over time, the fabric actually molds to the unique shape of your foot.
The Twister style brings a bit more texture and color interplay to the table, featuring an organic, uneven nep yarn throughout a full-length, chunky rib knit. The high-performance cotton and hemp blend naturally wicks away moisture, regulates temperature, and provides built-in deodorizing properties for reliable, year-round comfort.
