Boro Visible Mending Workshop
At Yesterday Store, we try to salvage and repurpose clothing items that would otherwise end up in landfill. To do that, we take inspiration from the traditional Japanese technique of Boro to breathe new life into old garments.
Boro is practical and doesn’t require perfection. At its core, it’s simply about making things functional and usable again. Patch after patch, the process is incredibly satisfying - and we often find the end result looks even better than the original garment.
We get questions about our mending all the time, and we’d love to share what we know with the Yesterday community. We are keeping our class numbers quite small to ensure everyone gets plenty of hands-on help, so get in early to avoid disappointment.
